Hangover Cure Part 2: The Shower

No, girl.
Here's Part 2 of my Hangover series. See Part 1 here.

In this part, we will take you from this:

To this!!!
.
Now THAT'S more like it!

A recap of the regimen:
  • Hangover Tea
  • Shower with Stimulating Bath Salts
  • Wake Up/Feel Good oil
  • Hangover Belly Rub oil
  • Multi-Vitamins
Okay, your hangover tea should be steeping. It's time to take a shower.

The ingredients in this shower are specifically for WAKING THE HELL UP, washing off the schmutz from last night, detoxing, raising the spirits, getting the circulation going, and helping the nausea.

Remember: Hot water, then cold water is key. Hot water opens the pores to let out all the nasties. Cold water stimulates the circulation and closes the pores.

Stimulating Bath Salts/Shower Scrub Recipe:

  • handful of dead sea salt (or whatever salt you have on hand, if it's an emergency)
  • 3 drops each of these essential oils:
  • peppermint
  • juniper
  • rosemary
  • lemon
  • orange
  • grapefruit

How to do it

  • Get the water as hot as you can stand it;
  • Using a loofah or rough washcloth, scrub your whole body down with the salts;
  • Wash your hair;
  • Finish with a quick blast of cold water;
  • Rub vigorously with a towel to dry.
