Acacia and I met again this Sunday for a new photo shoot and it was an AMAZING DAY!!!
We went back to that same place along the Rio Grande. Everything is so green! Lots of reeds and beautiful grasses.
Photographing Acacia is SO FUN! She has this unique mix of wild bohemian and urban refinement. Plus she's a young woman just standing right on that precipice, ready to fly out over the world. That excitement and complexity is very compelling, and I feel it very strongly when I'm photographing her...
Our sessions are pretty quiet...almost like we're creating some kind of silent poem together.
So I guess the final picture is the poem.
I think I had something on my lens... look how blurry the face and hair are here. I MUST be more careful! |
She loves to hold plants! |
See? Plants. |
This reminds me of misty mornings on Cape Cod... the lighting... |
Determined woman! Joan of Ark! |
The lighting is too weird to use this in my shop, but I LOOOOOOVE the picture! |
Funky effect... don't ask me how. Trick of the lighting, I think. |
The photograph that you described "......misty mornings on Cape Cod" is just mesmerizing. The photographic professionalism along with the peaceful and pleasantly haunting (in a good way) quality ....is just amazing! Acacia has such a depth of beauty. Thanks for your blog. Clear skin, textiles and beauty all rolled into one!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for visiting, Julie. Acacia is a muse, for sure!!!
