Absolutely stunning photos of the far north. My favorites, of course, are the ones that show people in traditional dress. The colors are stunning. Bright and varied in some, and muted and earthy in others. Also very interesting is the one goth kid and the woman wearing the black overcoat and jeans in the Finland group.
The identification of self within a group (spatial and temporal) is expressed or signaled, I think, by the textiles on and around that person.
