As some of you know, I've been experimenting with coffee treatments for sagging skin. It all started here.
There were some problems with the oil I made, though. First of all, it SMELLED AWFUL!!! Second of all, it's CRAZY CAFFEINATED!
So I decided to create a more user-friendly version. Please be aware, though, that this version still has caffeine in it. Don't use this stuff right before bed, chicas!
My Recipe
1/3 cup Sweet Almond Oil (I used vanilla-infused oil)1/3 cup Coconut Oil
1/3 cup Coffee-infused oil
1-2 ounces Cocoa Butter
Vanilla Beans
- Put all ingredients in a heat-safe vessel (I used a pyrex measuring cup).
- Heat slowly until the cocoa butter is completely melted.
- Pour the whole thing into a glass or PET container (if using PET, wait until the mixture cools somewhat).
- Keep in the fridge!
The result is a really nice, awesome-smelling body balm. It feels a bit grainy in the container, and melts immediately on contact with your hands. Rub this on your freshly-bathed bod. It's supposed to be good for cellulite and sagging skin.
