Last week we did an indoor catalog photo shoot of Miri Boheme bohemian shrugs and jackets with Albuquerque model Brittinia Di Mattia!
She's got an edgy boho/rocker look that I LOVE. She's a great model and very smart and hilarious. We drank lots of cold-brew coffee and had an awesome time.
JAMIE'S SO AWESOME! |
Frantic Photography
After a blog post by More Than Turquoise, I sold out of jackets (!!!!) and desperately needed to list more. After crazy-sewing for a week, I finally had enough. Time to photograph!
In a normal 1-hour session, I can usually do 10 or 15 items, but I really needed to step it up. Britt and I POWERED THROUGH more than 20 jackets in less than an hour!
Camera and Lighting Issues
- The pics came out a bit dark and grainy, especially around Britt's beautiful face.
- I believe her face was lit too harshly
- there was too much back-light seeping around.
- The pics were dark.
- When I correct for white, the pics look overexposed.
- cut down on front lighting, too? I really don't know the answer...
Here are some of the shots, mostly edited.

Unedited. Look how awesome she is. |
Unedited - this one was not salvageable in post-production, which is a shame b/c I LOVE this one! |
