Outdoor Photo Shoot with the Young Ladies
| Best shot of the day, IMO. Cippie is a natural. |
In an attempt to appeal to "the kids" and make a ton more $$$, I decided to photograph some young ladies in my stuff. White Rock, near Los Alamos, in New Mexico, was our location, and we shot during the golden hour, because I cannot resist.
Photo Shoot with the Gorgeous Ashley Dunec
This woman has an incredible look! I happened to have an unexpected day off last week, so i asked Ashley Dunec to do an impromptu shoot. I was looking for catalog images, but Ashley was SO AWESOME and the location we found was SO AWESOME, that these may end up being an editorial after all!
Photo Shoot with Brian Spencer and Squee
Sarah Vasquez (aka Squee) is an insightful, very thoughtful model and photographer.
Both are artists to the core.
Photo Shoot with Britt at the State Fair
Catalog Photography with Britt!
Last week we did an indoor catalog photo shoot of Miri Boheme bohemian shrugs and jackets with Albuquerque model Brittinia Di Mattia!

This weekend I had the great pleasure of working with photographer David Nufer in his amazing, glorious studio! David is especially well known for his dramatically beautiful product and portrait photos, and has been working with many of his clients for decades.
Photo Shoot with Toxic Tears!
In trying to rebrand Miri, I have been very attracted to the concept of a journey. This journey could be through time and space, and could be facilitated or symbolized by textiles. Textiles connect us with our past, in that the production and use of textiles in prehistory was a HUGE big deal for us as a species. Textiles connect us through space, also, because they are an integral part of our individual cultures and we can share them with others throughout the world. By sharing textiles, we share ourselves.
I'd love to depict women of all ages and cultures sharing and enjoying these textiles, teaching and learning from each other.
Our girl Lacey's Shoot with J.S. Webb Photography

Photo Shoot With Lacey
| So beautiful it's almost ridiculous. |
She showed up ready to work, looking beautiful. She and her awesome sister even babysat the kids for a few minutes (brave ladies) so I could run down to the bank and get her fee (which I forgot to get in advance because i'm a freakin scatterbrain).
This time I used two softboxes with 250s on the background, one 500 with a yellow umbrella facing down from behind me onto the model, light from the window on Lacey's left side, and a gold reflector shining window light back onto Lacey's right side and face. I'm happier with this set than the last set, but the background is still too dark (editing has proving relatively fruitless in this regard) and I would like a better light on Lacey.
Still evolving!
Photo Shoot with Katrina!
The gorgeous and fun Katrina came over for a photo shoot the other night and brought her baby son, Indigo! We had a blast shooting in my TINY little living room and got some great pictures. She's an amazing model and I hope we can do more together this year.
