the prettiest fall jackets

beautiful golden colors are sweeping across the desert and the nights are getting cool.

keep your free-spirited, bohemian style going right into fall

and stay warm with these perfect little silk jackets!

summer is officially over and autumn has begun.

even though the nights are getting cooler, i'm not quite ready to put on a bulky sweater.

these little kimonos and shrugs are so perfect for this weather. they're BEAUTIFUL (!!!) and light, with a great, flowing vibe. silk is surprisingly warm

best of all, these are all made from vintage and antique saris. they're good for the planet and GREAT for you!

this purple jacket and the green one below are made of bandahni silk.this pattern is famous in the west because of bandanas. the technique is to tie little knots all over the fabric, dip it in dye, and spread it out to dry. when the knots are removed, these beautiful patterns are left.

the kimonos below are made from leheria saris with amazing zardozi embroidery. leheria is a form of tie dying. zardozi is super ornate metallic embroidery with little sequins and beads.

these fancy kimonos are made of antique, hand beaded saris. SO BEAUTIFUL! these work great with a casual outfit or even for a formal event or a wedding.
